What is augmented reality (AR)? Augmented reality is one of the biggest up and coming technology trends right now, combining real world and computer-generated content. AR is gaining popularity in many different fields but has dominated the video game industry.

In this program, led by Jodie McCluskey, students will learn how to develop their own AR experience using Adobe Aero’s free software to perfectly blend the virtual and physical worlds. After this course, students will have completed their own AR Experience to share with friends and family. The Augmented Reality Development program begins on February 3rd, 2023, and lasts 5 weeks, consisting of eight (60- minute) sessions. It’s perfect for 6th-12th graders who want to get started in this exciting field!

She’s been a CTE teacher for four years and loves teaching project-based learning.
