Robotics is a truly interdisciplinary space using AI, data science, coding, design, engineering, and more. Kids will explore the design and creation process, as well as code and learn how to move the robots, use sensors, control robot arms, and control robots to complete various challenges that simulate real-world robotics competitions.

We will start with introducing students to the basics of robotics from moving around and turning, to sensoring and motor controls, as well as how to combine all these actions to accomplish different challenges. Students will use VEX robotics for coding and work in a virtual world. We will also learn strategies for competing in real world robotics competitions to earn as high of a score as possible, using real field designs from previous years’ actual VEX competitions.

Get your coding skills ready and let’s flex those muscles to get your robot to work and win!
