“I want to work out, but I don’t know where to start!” Start with this 5-week Fit4Life course to build a foundation of movement, fitness, health, and wellness. Students participate in weekly movement education, mindfulness practice, and fitness activities in order to promote the Fit4Life mentality.

This course demonstrates how to build a foundation of fitness while exposing students to different pathways to achieve overall wellness.

Students will have access to a library of on-demand content and lessons from PLT4M, the leader in educational fitness for students in grades 6th-12th.

About the Instructor

Mr. Krey has been the CTE Health Sciences Instructor with Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy for the last 4 years. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Certified Special Populations Specialist, and Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as a Clinical Exercise Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine.

In his free time, Mr. Krey stays active with his wife and three young  daughters and golden retriever and enjoys playing and reffing ice hockey, biking, running, weight lifting, home improvement projects, watching Marvel and Star Wars, and boating on their pontoon.
